Aerospace Engineering Company wins the contract for the general contracting of the gasification unit project at Gansu Energy & Chemical Jinchang Energy Chemical Plant. On October 14, 2022, the company was awarded the contract for the general contracting of the gasification unit in the project aimed at producing hydrogen through the efficient utilization of low-grade coal, as well as the production of 500,000 tons per year of high-concentration urea-based compound fertilizers, carried out by Gansu Energy & Chemical Jinchang Energy Chemical Development Co., Ltd. The project is located in the Hexibao Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park in Jinchang City, Gansu Province. It uses local low-rank coal with high ash content and high melting point as raw material, and employs one 2,000-ton-class space furnace. This project is another EPC contract for a gasification unit under a large-scale coal chemical project owned by Gansu Energy Chemical Group, following the Liuhe project at Gansu Jingmei.
