Progress on the relocation, upgrading and technical renovation project of Jiangsu Jinkong Equipment Xinhengsheng’s plant, which aims to produce 400,000 tons of syngas and 600,000 tons of urea. On November 3, the construction of the 110 kV substation for this relocation, upgrading and technical renovation project commenced successfully. The commencement of this project marks the efficient progress of the power supply system for New Hengsheng Company’s 40.60 project. The 110 kV substation project is divided into a main substation and transmission lines, with a total investment of approximately 80 million yuan. The total area of the substation is approximately 1,035 m2, with an investment of around 50 million yuan; the length of the 110 kV lines is about 12.035 kilometers, and there are two 110 kV power supply lines, involving an investment of around 30 million yuan. The main substation is designed with the goals of \"high reliability, intelligent maintenance, and intelligent operation.\" It uses first-class G|S switchgear available in China, and two new main transformers have been installed, each with a capacity of 2*63 MVA. The 10 kV high-voltage compartment is inspected using track-mounted robots, and electronic access control systems are in place. The 10 kV switchgear is equipped with a microcomputer-based integrated protection and monitoring system as well as an intelligent monitoring assistance system. The substation is designed to operate unattended, but it can also be operated with personnel on site. The power supply lines consist of two 110 kV feeders, so that in the event of a failure in one feeder, the other can ensure normal power supply for operational needs. The project of Jiangsu Jinkong Equipment Xinhengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is carried out in two phases, with a total approved investment of 5.664 billion yuan; the production capacity planned is 550,000 tons of amino alcohol, 600,000 tons of urea, and 200,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year. Phase 1 of the project commenced construction in October 2021, with completion scheduled for 2023. The design of this project utilizes smokeless bituminous coal as raw material, and employs advanced technologies such as pressurized gasification of waste boiler coal with radiation, sulfur-resistant wide-temperature shift reaction, and Cassali ammonia synthesis to produce products such as synthetic ammonia, urea, methanol, and ethylene glycol. After the second-phase project was replanned around coal-based new materials, the feasibility study report has been prepared, and related work is progressing in an orderly manner.
