Tianji Group’s ammonia synthesis plant successfully produced ammonia / Author/Source: Tianji Group / Date: 11-07-2022 / Clicks: 15. At 15:54 on November 5, the Tianji ammonia synthesis plant generated qualified liquid ammonia, marking the successful completion of the annual major maintenance shutdown of the plant. On October 10, the catalyst replacement project for System 300#B in the gas generation workshop marked the start of maintenance work at the ammonia synthesis plant three days earlier than scheduled. At 00:00 on October 13, the ammonia synthesis unit gradually reduced its load and began a shutdown for major maintenance. To ensure maintenance work that is \"safe, environmentally friendly, high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective,\" the staff made every effort to safeguard safety and prevent the spread of diseases. They completed over 450 maintenance tasks, including the major overhaul of the Y-1801 turbine as part of the company’s Party member pioneer project, the replacement of the catalyst in unit 300# as part of the worker pioneer project, and the replacement of the adsorbent in the 5600# decarburization/ammonia enhancement tank as part of the youth innovation project. In addition, they addressed issues with older equipment and improved safety facilities, thereby creating the conditions necessary for the smooth operation of the ammonia synthesis plant. During the commissioning of the plant, the ammonia synthesis facility overcame various adverse factors by giving top priority to safety. Leadership personnel strictly fulfilled their responsibilities and adhered to the three-level inspection system; they paid close attention to change management during commissioning, verified each stage of the process, and promptly resolved various issues that arose during commissioning. The process and maintenance personnel strictly followed the startup plan, operated with care and carried out meticulous management. They strengthened on-site supervision during startup, ensured proper coordination between different tasks, and made all necessary verifications, which effectively guaranteed the successful first startup of the ammonia synthesis plant. Next, the ammonia synthesis plant will implement three-level inspections within 72 hours of operation, as well as weekly monitoring to ensure proper oversight. While increasing the load and addressing any potential issues that arise during operation, it will pay close attention to process control and equipment management, aiming to improve process parameters by comparing them with historical optimal performance data. Meanwhile, with equipment lubrication management as the key focus, efforts will be made to continuously strengthen the basic management of equipment. The system for leading officials to take responsibility for specific equipment will be strictly implemented, responsibilities will be clearly assigned and enforced, and multiple approaches will be adopted to ensure that the system operates safely, stably, and at full capacity as soon as possible.
