The construction of the substation for the coal gasification unit in Shaanxi Longhua Group’s project for the clean, efficient, and comprehensive utilization of coal on a graded and quality-based basis has been completed. Recently, the Northwest branch of Shiliu Hua Jian completed the construction of the substation for the coal gasification unit as part of Shaanxi Longhua Group’s project for such clean and efficient utilization of coal. The capping of the Gasification Substation is the first unit of the gasification facility to be completed; its frame is 42 meters long, 36 meters wide, and 9.1 meters high, and it features a two-story reinforced concrete frame structure. The completion of the roof construction for the substation of this gasification unit lays a solid foundation for the subsequent completion of the roof construction on other equipment in the gasification unit and the air separation unit. The construction of the project for the clean and efficient utilization of coal at different grades and qualities in Shaanxi Coal Longhua Mining aims to produce 500,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia, 800,000 tons per year of urea, 300,000 tons per year of calcium carbide, 1 million tons per year of lignite coke, 300,000 tons per year of lime, 60,000 tons per year of melamine, as well as 50,000 tons per year of LNG. The project utilizes advanced, mature, and reliable technologies such as clean coal gasification, ammonia synthesis, low-temperature methanol washing, sulfur recovery, isothermal shift, and liquid nitrogen washing to produce synthetic ammonia, which is then used as a raw material to manufacture products such as urea and melamine. The total investment for the project is 7.07 billion yuan.
