The two parties officially signed investment agreements for the high-end manufacturing base project aimed at producing 100 sets of outdoor safety-rated shell-type electrolyzers per year, as well as the project to produce 337,500 tons of green synthetic methanol per year. The high-end manufacturing base project for producing 100 sets of outdoor safety-rated shell-type electrolyzers per year has a total investment of 200 million yuan; once operational, it can generate an annual output value of 1 billion yuan. The project for producing 337,500 tons of green synthetic methanol per year requires an investment of 2.48 billion yuan; once operational, it will be able to generate an annual output value of 2.27 billion yuan. It is understood that green methanol currently has a huge market potential; it will be widely used as a marine fuel in ocean shipping, and it can also be utilized in the production of green polymers as a raw material for packaging materials. The project utilizes an advanced process for synthesizing methanol from biomass and hydrogen produced by water electrolysis, offering significant cost advantages and market competitiveness. The signing of this investment agreement is an important part of Eket Banner’s efforts to develop the high-end fine chemical industry; it is also a key project within Ordos City’s initiative to build \"four world-class industries.\" Once the project is operational, it will greatly facilitate the transition from old to new sources of economic growth in Eket Banner, helping to create new points of economic growth, spark new drivers of development, and add new momentum to the region.
