The Energy and Chemicals Company continued to prioritize both epidemic prevention and control as well as safe production; it made steady progress despite various challenges. During the “100-Day Sprint to Secure Success in the Fourth Quarter” campaign, it achieved successive successes. Building on the nearly 100 million yuan in profits recorded in October, good news came again in November, with methanol production reaching 55,200 tons, thus breaking the previous monthly record. In November, there were significant difficulties in supplying raw materials for production. The group company provided proactive support and precise guidance, and each production unit effectively integrated epidemic prevention and control with safe and environmentally sustainable production practices. Daily checks were carried out on various production materials to ensure balance between production, supply, sales, and storage. This approach enabled uninterrupted production, a steady supply of goods, increased output, and reduced material consumption. By optimizing operations and stabilizing working conditions, the operation rate of the two furnaces was improved; the four boilers and six gasification units operated at 100% capacity. The operating load rate of the methanol production unit reached 114%, with a daily methanol output of up to 1,780 tons, and 690 tons of LNG.
