The differences in function among circuit breakers, load switches, and isolating switches are as follows: 1. A circuit breaker is a switching device that is capable of closing, carrying, and breaking current under normal circuit conditions, as well as of closing, carrying, and breaking current under abnormal circuit conditions within a specified time frame. Circuit breakers are classified into high-voltage circuit breakers and low-voltage circuit breakers based on their area of use. The boundary between high voltage and low voltage is somewhat vague; generally, devices with a voltage of 3 kV or higher are considered high-voltage electrical equipment. 2. The operating process of the load switch is as follows: during opening, under the action of the opening spring, the main shaft rotates clockwise; this causes the piston to move upward through a crank-slider mechanism, thereby compressing the gas ; On the other hand, through a transmission system composed of two sets of four-link mechanisms, the main switch blade is opened first, after which the arc-extinguishing switch blade is pushed to open the arc contacts; the compressed air in the cylinder blows out the arc through nozzles. 3.
