Is it better to study on one’s own or to enroll in a course to prepare for the registration as a professional electrical engineer?

I’m new to the design industry and not very familiar with certification processes. I was wondering if those who are more experienced usually study on their own or enroll in training courses to obtain such certifications? {:3_67:}
Enroll in a training course; after all, the value of a certified electrical engineer is extremely high – there are only a dozen or so such professionals in the entire province. So by spending some money on a training course, one can at least learn things that would otherwise be impossible to know

To be honest, stop taking exams and focus on working hard to get more projects. I don’t understand anything; taking any course won’t help, and it also takes time and money. Most importantly, there’s a very, very high probability of failing. Take on more projects and gain more experience; the company also provides such training. Judge for yourself.
If you don’t have a solid foundation, it’s certainly better to enroll in a course; start by taking the tests related to the basic aspects. If you have a good foundation, you might not need to take such courses. Once you’ve mastered the basics, if you plan to take the more specialized tests, it’s advisable to enroll in a course, as it’s much better than trying to study on your own, especially since the tests mainly focus on manuals and standards. Enrolling in a course saves time and effort, allowing for better review; it is recommended for exams as it is very helpful for your electrical fundamentals.
There are only a few dozen colleagues around my age, and 4 of them were accepted. Just an electrical maintenance worker at a chemical plant. I took the First-Class Constructor exam and I really regret it.
Check the application requirements first to see if you meet the eligibility criteria. The content of the exam covers not only topics related to electrical engineering but also essentially all the science and engineering courses taken in university, so one should be mentally prepared for that.
Is it confirmed that the exam is about licensed electricians? If it’s done through official channels, the maintenance staff won’t even allow you to report it.
