Why are some posts only visible to the author?

There are many forum members here; it’s great to share things together!
Set by the original poster. There’s some information that other sea friends don’t need to know, haha
Those are mostly answer posts, a display format set by the moderators. If the answers are visible to each other, then it loses all meaning
This is how answers are generally given; there are also other responses that can be seen.
