Is a submersible pump a piping device or an electrical device? Should the procurement plan be submitted as an equipment report or an electrical report?
As for submersible pumps, the person who uses them is responsible for taking care of them. Anyone can apply for this program. For example, flood control pumps – such as those used in cable trenches for electrical purposes and those used in pipe trenches for process-related applications – should be assigned to those who will be responsible for their use. As for maintenance, it should fall under the responsibility of electric fitters. Typical enterprises focus on mechanical repairs, with electrical repairs serving as a supplementary form of comprehensive maintenance.

According to company regulations, generally it is the person whose equipment the submersible pump belongs to who is responsible for reporting it; with such a question from the original poster, there is likely to be a lot of shirking of responsibility and back-and-forth arguments.
Whoever uses it should be the one to report it – does one have to wait for someone else to ask before creating a material plan?
