How long can an explosion-proof flexible tube be?

I’m planning to install a combustible gas detector, and I want to use explosion-proof flexible tubing for wiring (steel pipes seem too complicated). About 5 meters – is that sufficient? I seem to have seen before that it could only be 2 meters, but I’ve never been able to find the relevant standard. Can explosion-proof flexible hoses that are not long enough be connected together? Could all the teachers please let me know? It would be best if there are standard sources, thank you.

Five meters should work fine; otherwise, who would buy flexible pipes in a five-meter length specification on the market? lol
It’s possible, as long as the explosion-proof requirements are met.
