Our company’s 115t/h dry quenching plant was put into operation last year, and the secondary dust removal system has not been performing well. Recently, it was found that the dust level at the outlet often reaches 4 g/m3, sometimes even 5 g/m3; moreover, the resistance is high, at 1.7–1.8 kPa. Could it be that the guide vanes or cyclones are blocked? I need experts to give an answer! Urgent! Urgent! Urgent!
Is your ash discharge normal? How often? How long is a shift?
Under heavy load, the frequency of ash discharge is quite high; it takes about 20 minutes to complete one discharge process. Measures have been taken to increase ash discharge and to ensure continuous emptying by removing the residue from the bottom, but dust level readings remain high. The manufacturer was called in to conduct dust tests, and the levels were still high – the reason being excessive resistance

It is caused by a large amount of circulating air, overly fine coke, or a clogged dust collector.
