What are the factors affecting the initial drying of a gasification furnace? How to ensure it follows the furnace heating curve.
First, it is necessary to ensure that the internal refractory bricks are installed without any defects, and that the furnace is allowed to rest for a sufficient period of time (usually more than a week). Only after checking that there are no defects can the furnace be dried. Generally, the jacket is filled with water to protect the vaporization furnace (of course, attention must be paid to internal corrosion prevention). Furnace drying manufacturers bring their own devices such as nozzles to carry out drying at atmospheric pressure. The temperature detection points are selected by oneself, and the curve can be controlled based on the flow rate of the fuel gas at the nozzle. If possible, the nozzle of the vaporization furnace itself can be used, or steam can be introduced into the jacket to raise the temperature; generally, the temperature is relatively easy to control ;
The furnace should be dried according to the drying curve provided by the refractory brick manufacturer; the drying process should not be too fast or too slow, as either extreme can have a significant impact on the lifespan of the refractory bricks.
The manufacturer surely has a specific heating curve for the furnace, using the amount of fuel used and the air flow rate to control the furnace temperature.
