May I ask whether methanol and butadiene react in C4-based MTBE? In other words, will a small amount of butadiene affect the formation of MTbe?
The application will have side effects, producing small amounts of methoxy-substituted isobutyl ethers or butane derivatives with two methoxy groups.
The reaction of butadiene is mainly to polymerize into rubber. . It is generally restricted, otherwise it will affect the properties of the product, especially the color, which is quite noticeable. . ,
