Before the device is put into operation for the first time, is it necessary to run the pump on a test basis? And how should the pump be tested? Should I close the inlet and outlet of the pump to run it without any medium, just idly? Thank you
Is that just the simplest no-load operation, or does it need to be under load in order to test its performance? For example, when using water, the outlet shouldn’t be opened too wide, as this can lead to overcurrent.
During the trial operation of a pump, the motor is usually tested first, by disconnecting the coupling first.
It is best not to run the pump under no-load conditions during its trial operation; first disconnect the coupling and test the motor, then run the pump with water.
Before starting up, conduct a single-unit test run first, followed by a water-cooled system test run.
