Problem with unable to input substances after installing Pro8.1? ?

As the title suggests, everything else works fine after installing Pro8.1 – it’s possible to create process diagrams – but when it comes to entering components, adding them fails after selecting the substance. Do those who are familiar with this issue know what might be the cause? I’ve tried installing it several times. . . .

Use a different version, 8.3 or 9.0

It’s probably a software issue; I haven’t used version 8.1, so I’m not sure

Try another one. This happened to me with my 8.1 version after I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it – I couldn’t enter the components. It’s possible that there’s some damage to the software or something similar; I’m not sure. It took me a long time to fix it, so I suggest that the original poster try another version instead!

The database hasn’t been installed properly. Before installing Pro2, be sure to clean up any remaining files from before; otherwise, there will be problems during installation. Try cleaning everything up and then reinstalling it

I cleaned everything out; the registry was completely deleted. . . :(
