The diameter of the interface pipe is generally between 89 and 150, and it must be no higher than the lowest point of the caustic soda tank truck (below 500). The interface for the transfer tank truck can be designed as a standard quick-connect interface, using a dedicated unloading interface (quick connect), or it can be achieved through a simple method involving rubber hoses or flanged short pipes; in this case, a splash-proof and anti-corrosion tray is placed beneath the connection points or anti-corrosion treatments are applied to prevent the leakage of alkaline liquid due to poor connections during unloading. Since liquid caustic soda is a hazardous chemical, corresponding safety operating procedures must be established, along with necessary personal protective equipment (such as alkali-resistant gloves and acid-proof masks).
