How to deal with frequent blockages in the inlet pipe of the bottom flow pump in a sedimentation tank? I hope all the teachers can give me some guidance.
An inlet with a flushing pipeline is provided to flush in case of blockage.
Apart from adding flushing water, can the slurry concentration at the inlet of the bottom flow pump in the clarification tank be diluted by adjusting the height of the material raking machine, in order to alleviate the clogging at the pump inlet? I hope experts can provide some guidance!
By adjusting the height of the material rake, there is no need for manual adjustment – it operates automatically; when the resistance exceeds 80, the rake lifts itself. Generally, there is a flushing water at the bottom of the sedimentation tank; when it gets clogged, backwashing will do.
There’s no other good solution for this; you can start by turning on the filter at the inlet and try flushing it with water.
The inlet pipe of the sedimentation tank bottom flow pump often gets clogged, either due to a high concentration of slurry, or because the flow rate of the sedimentation tank bottom flow pump is low (resulting in the accumulation of slag), or due to problems with the scraper. It is necessary to first identify the cause of the high slurry concentration and take appropriate action
Maintain a high flow rate, and frequently increase it to flush the pipelines. Rinsing with water is a last-resort method; it is also necessary to consider whether the blockage in the inlet pipeline is caused by scale deposits, and if so, backwashing or direct disassembly for cleaning is required.
