I’d like to apologize to all the guys, girls, and members in the equipment section. Starting from the post posted by Xiaomei on February 23rd, the 【Machinery and Equipment Learning & Advanced Discussion Forum】is now open for visitors. This advanced forum, created with great enthusiasm by forum administrators and active members such as Benbenxuan, Xiaomei, and Wang Ban, has been operational for one quarter now; so far, there are 99 posts and several replies. The development of this section completely took me by surprise; maybe it didn’t take others by surprise? I’ve been reflecting these past few days. First of all, I have always been a strong supporter of the section setup; it was created by Benben, Xiaomei, Wang Ban, and others by combining everyone’s ideas. Design typology* area, Manufacturing typology* area, Maintenance typology* area, Operation typology* area. Secondly, the rules have been discussed thoroughly and represent the considerable effort put in by the management of the mechanical equipment sector as well as its members. Who says we don’t put in enough effort in managing our machinery and equipment sector? I’m as frustrated as he is! ! But in fact, the problem is already starkly clear: there are simply that many posts available at the moment! It’s understandable to have not many posts, but isn’t it way too few? Where is the problem? 1) Once, I suggested that the premium section should not only be a learning area but also a display area to showcase the glory of the HaiChuan equipment category in the past; it should serve as a place for discussing high-quality posts and motivational posts, with the option to move them there selectively. But it seems that this suggestion wasn’t accepted. 2) Starting a personal thread is fine at first, but gradually some people can’t handle it; the academician just gives up, as he can’t stand those questions! I fully understand; in my opinion, anything done out of temporary interest won’t be pursued to the end. 3) There are many highly talented people in the field of maritime affairs, but their proportion is very small; this is no longer a secret. 4) The term “advanced” probably scares away many people who care about their reputation – after all, it relates to the pride of intellectuals! This is just my personal opinion; feel free to share your thoughts. Where is the path to the advanced area?

Hire more people, hire good people. Question: 1. Why do we stay at Haichuan? 2. How to keep them in Haichuan?
The definition of ‘advanced’ should refer to the quality of the content, rather than the status of the person who posts or replies. Judging from the current situation, it focuses on the advancement of individuals; I think that’s putting the cart before the horse.
Personal opinion: Initially, the academician himself did not have this desire; he mainly complied with the organizational arrangements. I agree a lot with the latter sentence. This is a new thing. The official name now is “Q&A Thread for Team Members,” but concepts such as senior, expert, and one-on-one assistance are more than enough to overwhelm the person who starts the thread, especially in these times when the term “expert” is often mocked. My intuition is as follows: 1. The so-called 4 learning zones – these aspects should be incorporated into the discussions of all sections; how many people will come here in search of opportunities? 2. The Q&A threads are in very limited supply, and over time they lose their vitality.
