Does an increase in column pressure drop and fouling of the top tray occur after processing the Susa crude oil?
Sorush is a high-sulfur, low-acid, saline crude oil with a sulfur content as high as 3.26% and a salt content of 84.33 mg/l； Salt formation at the tower top is primarily reflected in pressure drops; low temperatures are difficult to control, and the dry point changes frequently. Testing the chloride ion concentration in the water drained from the tower top is also an indicator used for assessment.
Poor desalination, desulfurization, and nitrogen treatment lead to severe scaling and corrosion at the top of the tower, which is quite normal
