It’s not necessary. Just avoid bag-shaped bends where water can accumulate, so there’s no risk of freezing in winter.
The overhead liquefied petroleum gas pipeline is grounded every 80 meters to eliminate static electricity generated by the flow of gas inside the pipe and friction against the pipe walls. The grounding must be reliable; its resistance should not exceed 10Ω. Additionally, conductive bridging wires should be welded at all flange and threaded connections.
