Pressure difference between Texaco gasification oxygen control valve and central oxygen control valve

I would like to ask the experts: what are the minimum and maximum pressure differences considered when selecting these two control valves?

Excessive pressure difference before and after the valves in oxygen pipelines, along with high oxygen flow rates, can lead to valve failures or accidents. It is generally required that the pressure difference between the two emergency shut-off valves in an oxygen pipeline not be too large, as these are on/off valves that open or close completely suddenly; this has a significant impact on the oxygen flow rate. Additionally, an excessive pressure difference can cause one side of the valve to be under pressure, affecting the actuator and leading to switching failures. Therefore, there are requirements regarding the maximum allowable pressure difference. As for the two oxygen control valves you mentioned, they are mainly used to regulate the flow rate; they can be opened and closed gradually, which prevents sudden sharp increases or decreases in the oxygen flow rate. Therefore, I think there isn’t a high requirement regarding pressure difference
