Is it still necessary to include a list of pipe materials in addition to the ISO diagram of the pipes?

The project is nearing completion, and the drawing documents are starting to be published. In previous projects, I didn’t complete all the tasks to the end. This time, the person in charge asked me to prepare our own documents based on those from other areas, but I found a list of pipe materials – a table that lists the material for each pipe. At first, I didn’t think much about it, but today I realized that our ISO document lists the material of each pipe, and it’s exactly the same as this list. So is there really a need to create another list of pipe materials? Although the material information can be obtained directly from software, it still needs to be organized in accordance with one’s company’s format. One of my colleagues spent an entire day on this task; it seems like redundant work.
There was no one yesterday; let’s discuss this today if everyone is available :) Yesterday, I read in HG20549 that the documents required for the piping discipline should include a list of pipe sections. However, this list of pipe sections is not an ISO-standard diagram – it’s simply a list of the materials used for each pipe. So, in that case, there’s no need to prepare a list of materials for all the pipes. I wonder if anyone agrees with my view.
Does the poster mean that the list of pipe materials is actually a list of pipe sections? ISO diagrams and pipe segment lists are different; both need to be generated
