There are many things I don’t understand, especially regarding the areas where problems are most likely to occur; knowing this will help me prepare the right spare parts for future repairs. Therefore, I would like to ask everyone for their advice. Thank you. This desulfurization process is PDS + tannin. The main equipment includes: a desulfurization liquid circulation pump (LCP300-500, 400KW, motor 10000V, from Xiangfan 525), 2 intermediate foam pumps, 2 sulfur foam pumps, 2 condensate pumps, and 1 submersible pump; all of these pumps are from Xiangfan 525. 1 pre-cooling tower (29 M high, used to cool gas with chilled water and ammonia); 2 regeneration towers (H=43.5 M, with desulfurization liquid and compressed air entering the towers from the bottom); 2 desulfurization towers (H=30 M, containing ceramic and corrugated fillers, as well as mist catchers). 2 reaction tanks (150㎥), 2 accident tanks, 1 intermediate foam tank, and 1 sulfur foam tank. 2 indivisible spiral plate heat exchangers, 3 sulfur melting kettles, 2 air compressors, and 1 freeze-dryer. I work on the front line, and I’d like to remind you that any equipment, pipelines, valves, etc. made of carbon steel and in contact with hydrogen sulfide, desulfurization fluids, rich and lean fluids, alkaline solutions, or ammonia solutions are prone to corrosion; such components are likely to get damaged. The mechanical seals of the centrifugal pumps in our unit break down frequently; otherwise, we just weld up the leakage points.
Mainly, you didn’t clarify the details of the equipment. The common problems in desulfurization systems are: 1. pump sealing, 2. sulfur release from the sulfur melting tank and valve return valves, 3. the shaft sleeve of submersible pumps. This is just based on experience; it’s difficult to say anything definite without knowing the specific details of the equipment
