Question about 0Cr17Ni12Mo2 ； DN400 ； SCH40 ； Why can’t the wall thickness of pipes made of this material be found in SH3405?
Because this specification exceeds the range of the current steel pipe standards in our country.
HG/T 20553-2011 \"Series for the Selection of Dimensions of Seamless and Welded Steel Tubes for Chemical Piping\" includes DN400; Sch40s specifies the wall thickness, and it belongs to the Ia series. The ASME B36.1 standard can also be referred to.
DN400, the austenitic stainless steel wall thickness of SCH40s, is indeed not mentioned in SH3405. The Luoyang Design Institute should know! It seems that our **standards are quite chaotic.
