Let’s talk about my experiences as an official moderator during this period: 1. I’ve been able to learn a lot, especially in areas I’m familiar with, as well as in those I’m not familiar with but am interested in； 2. I used to read posts carelessly, but now I read them word by word ； 3. I need to learn* some things after class, as there are so many talented people on the forum ； If you don’t learn, you’ll fall behind ； ——Here are some suggestions, 2 in total——After logging in as an administrator, could a section be created to summarize unread posts/replies? That would make management much faster and prevent wasting a lot of time by reviewing the same post repeatedly ； Also, regarding moving posts up the management interface, could an option be added to move a post up by one position, or one page, or all the way to the top – right after the posts that are already at the top? Just for reference!
The main purpose of the management divider is to distinguish between processed and unprocessed posts; the posts above the management divider can be processed and then moved up. If there are unprocessed posts below the management divider, it simply indicates that the moderator is not managing properly. Summarizing unread posts in the management section, or adding an extra row or page, doesn’t serve any real purpose.
Regarding the first question you raised: After logging in as an administrator, it would be possible to set up a summary of unread posts/replies in the management section, which would make management much faster and prevent wasting a lot of time by repeatedly reviewing the same posts； This is not necessary, because the purpose of managing division lines is to tell you which items have been managed and which still haven’t. Generally, posts below the management divider have been managed. If it is non-managed, it may be due to the moderators of that section not performing their duties properly
The management divider indicates posts that have been managed; there’s no major issue with this； But if there is a summary of unread posts, it’s beneficial for everyone, as it allows you to know which ones are still unread! Many L-mails have this feature; it’s very convenient! If everyone thinks it’s not necessary, then it indeed isn’t necessary, haha:lol
