1. Disassemble it and check whether it is worn； 2. Too long a delivery pipeline can also cause this.
In most cases, a gear pump fails to deliver fluid due to improper air release; there may be air inside the pump or pipes, or the inlet filter could be clogged. Tooth wear is also a possible cause
If the flow rate suddenly drops, check whether there are any air leaks or blockages at the inlet
There are many reasons; please, the original poster, could you be more specific? Did it stop working suddenly? Was the gap still too large after just being serviced?
First, handle it according to the suggestions from the 4th floor. Positive displacement pump fails to deliver flow + “suddenly” is often an inlet issue~~
It is estimated that after prolonged wear, the gap increases, backflow increases, and no pressure can be established; it is recommended to replace the parts. There are other reasons as well, which need to be checked one by one.
The reasons are basically the same as what the technician upstairs mentioned; it’s still necessary to carefully rule them out one by one.
