If the product is to be manufactured in accordance with NACE requirements, are there specific requirements regarding the hardness of the raw materials, and are there any requirements as regards their composition? Such as carbon steel
If the product’s technical specifications require compliance with NACE-MR0175 for the raw materials, what are the specific requirements for those raw materials, such as hardness, composition, etc.?
For details, refer to NACE-MR0175; it seems to have requirements regarding carbon content, carbon equivalent, sulfur and phosphorus contents, as well as hardness. Anti-H2S; it was done N years ago, and all the items have been returned to the standard.

First of all, the latest version of NACE MR0175 is required; the latest version I’m aware of, version 09, is divided into 3 parts: 1) General principles for selecting steels resistant to cracking in humid hydrogen sulfide environments, 2) Carbon steels, low-alloy steels, and cast irons, 3) Other corrosion-resistant alloys. For the most common carbon and low-alloy steels, the key control parameters are a hardness of less than 22 HRC, a Ni content of less than 1%, and in cases where fiber deformation due to cold forming exceeds 5%, heat treatment in accordance with ASME Section 8-1 is required. Free-cutting steel is not allowed. There are no other special requirements. The material meets A-S-T-M (bad information? ) that’s it. (Required for version 03; I only have the old version)
