The distance from the fire alarm panel in that area to the plant-wide fire alarm panel is 960 meters; therefore, 10*2.5 control cables are required. Question 1: The signal transmitted is a digital one. Over a distance of 1000 meters, can the signal be transmitted using the aforementioned control cable? Question 2: This cable is used for fire alarm systems – is it sufficient to use ordinary fire-resistant cables, or are there other requirements specified in the standards?
Install strictly in accordance with the requirements of the product manual; try not to use it to its limit – generally, use 80% of the recommended capacity!
