There’s nothing that can be done about that; almost every factory encounters this issue. Just ensure proper passivation and regular cleaning. What I’m referring to are other problems related to the unit itself, such as a lack of oil, inflexible control valves, high liquid level in the evaporator, and reduced cooling efficiency, etc
Could the high exhaust temperature you mentioned be due to insufficient flow of cooling water or a high temperature of the cooling water itself? As for the loud noise, could it be caused by impurities entering the screw compressor or damaged bearings?
The exhaust temperature level is related to the amount of fuel injected; generally, an alarm is triggered at 90 degrees Celsius
I’m facing a problem and seek help from experts. It’s a twin-screw chiller (ethylene glycol type), using R507 as the refrigerant. There is a heat load to be handled; the inlet temperature of the ethylene glycol water solution (chilled water) is 10 degrees, and the outlet temperature needs to be kept at 4 degrees. The inlet temperature of the cooling water is controlled at 32 degrees. Under high load, the intake pressure is 450 KPA and the exhaust pressure is 1500 KPA, but the water temperature does not drop. Observing the evaporator level gauge shows uneven evaporation bubbles, while the chilled water flow meets the requirements. After continuous operation, the slide valve will automatically reduce the load and the suction pressure will rise to 700 KPA; (there is enough fluorine, as the machine was just refilled). Please advise, experts
