In the classification of instrument signals: Category 1 signals include low-level signals such as thermal resistor signals, thermocouple signals, millivolt signals, and strain signals. Shielded cables must be used; where possible, shielded twisted-pair cables are the best choice. What are strain signals, and what types of them exist?
It generally refers to the situation where, when external factors such as temperature, pressure, and humidity change, the impedance and capacitance of the sensor also change accordingly, resulting in changes in the voltage and current applied to the sensor. By detecting these differences, a signal is generated; this signal is relatively weak and prone to interference, which is why shielded cables are used for its transmission.

Based on the explanation on the second floor, I believe that temperature-sensing cables transmit signals of this kind; they are used in fire alarm systems to detect the presence of a fire by sensing changes in temperature. They are employed in tank areas, and the principle behind their operation is that changes in temperature cause changes in resistance value, and it is by detecting these values that fires can be identified. This is just my personal understanding for reference only. Leakage detection in environmental protection applications also operates on this same principle.
