How to select a safety valve designed according to ASME standards?

It is a vessel designed in accordance with ASME VIII-1. During the bidding process, the client requested that we select and purchase safety valves, but we are not sure what the regulations stipulate under ASME. Is it similar to the standards used in domestic design, where only the opening pressure and nominal diameter need to be specified? Are there any formulas in ASME for calculating the diameter of safety valves, similar to those in the appendix of GB150?
The overpressure protection section starting from UG-125 uses formulas that are basically the same as those in the national standards
