After years of persuasion and personal preparation, my family finally agreed. I went back home, acquired a few dozen acres of land, and became a small landowner – growing flowers, plants, trees, and so on, to earn some money… As for my old career in the chemical industry, I’m still a bit reluctant to give it up
It seems you’ve managed to get some capital after all; that way you’ll have what it takes to become a small landowner when you go back! :lol
It depends on age! Dealing with land is still very tough...
It’s happy no matter how hard it is, after all, it’s hard work for oneself. If you work, you spend the whole year working for others. I work hard to run my small business, and I cherish every penny I earn, as I put real effort into it. If you work, you may earn a good amount of money, but if you don’t know how to value it and spend it recklessly, you end up feeling frustrated at the end of the year when it’s time to settle accounts.
There’s some truth to what you say. But I came from the countryside, and every summer during the rush period for farming it’s really frustrating. Going back to school after the summer holidays feels like being in Africa
Supports working from home. . . . You can use your knowledge in chemistry; when you’re not busy, you can work in the county town and open a hardware store, while also taking on some local small jobs – life can be quite good that way.

I share the same thoughts as you, OP. It’s been three years since I graduated from college, and I find my current job uninteresting; looking for a new job doesn’t excite me either. I really hope to be able to work in something that interests me
Hardware stores can indeed be profitable, with profits reaching 100% or even several hundred percent. However, the working environment there is truly unbearable – messy shelves, along with smells of paint, metal rust, engine oil, and lubricants... Well, after thinking about it, my wife runs a flower shop; she produces half of the products herself while purchasing the other half. During these difficult times, it helps to supplement the family income~
