Recently, the desulfurization process of gasoline fiber membranes in our factory has been accompanied by severe alkalinity issues. I would like to know if other factories also experience such alkalinity problems. Additionally, what level of alkali loss is considered normal?
Fiber membrane systems generally do not contain alkaline solutions. Gasoline systems are a bit special – gasoline causes the alkaline solution to lose water, which increases its concentration; and a high concentration can lead to the presence of alkaline solutions. Do you have a process for adding water? Additionally, it’s important to pay attention to whether the level measurements are accurate, and how far the fiber membranes are from the bottom of the tank.
