German food processing company installs Krans PET recycling equipment June 19, 2012, 14:06 China Plastics and Rubber German company Stute Food Processing GmbH plans to put the first Krans PET recycling unit into operation in Germany in August 2012. Its Super Clean-PET-Flake-Prozess enables the production of flakes with extremely high purity. These sheets can be used directly as material for new bottles. Traditional processes, on the contrary, require additional steps to produce recycled materials suitable for use in food. Stute Company is committed to pursuing an environmentally friendly path, hoping to be able to fully recycle PET materials in the future. Stute Company plans to use this process to return both PET bottles and preforms to the bottle-making process. It also includes the bottles that have been in contact with the materials. The recycling process involves cleaning and disinfecting the discarded PET bottles to ensure they are suitable for food use. During recycling, the PET material is crushed and sent to the storage bin on the cleaning line. PET recycling equipment is mainly composed of a cleaning module, a disinfection module, and peripheral equipment. This device is installed on two levels. The cleaning module and the disinfection module are in separate compartments. The disinfection module is installed adjacent to the existing preform injection molding machine.
