Our company handles 75% waste sulfuric acid by reacting it with 25% calcium hydroxide to produce calcium sulfate, which is used as an additive in cement production. However, during the trial production phase, it was found that the volume ratio could not be controlled properly, and it failed to meet the standards required for cement production. I’m not sure what process generates the waste acid you have; although it seems simple, calcium sulfate will coat the lime, so care must be taken in designing the method of adding lime slurry and its mixing (where can I find 25% calcium hydroxide?) )

The calcium hydroxide mentioned by the poster must be made by adding water to quicklime; it is generally used to control the pH value after treatment. I know that; my factory uses quicklime to neutralize sulfuric acid. After filtration, the wastewater is discharged, leaving behind calcium sulfate. The pH is generally between 7 and 8. It can be picked up by vehicle if needed.
