What is a radially aligned fitting?

I have a rather basic question: in the large opening analysis method specified in GB150-2011, page 165, it mentions radially aligned nozzles. What is the structure of such nozzles? A specifically designated type of mounting? As I understand it, what does “level” mean? :) Are plug-in and in-band extension pipes counted?
flush is what we commonly refer to as the installed type; it is different from the inserted type and those with protruding connectors. The in-band extended type is the same as the plug-in type; it just has an extension part inserted
