Has anyone calculated what the current market price is for one ton of methanol? How much does one ton of bottled mineral water (such as Master Kong, Nongfu Spring, Uni-President, etc.) cost? Which production process is more complex? Which one is more expensive? If the calculation is correct, a bottle of mineral water is awarded for drinking; if it is incorrect, a bottle of methanol is awarded for drinking.
As for the authenticity of mineral water, fake versions are cheaper to produce and require simple manufacturing processes – all that’s needed is a bottle to collect some tap water
Farmer 550ml is available in bottles of one unit each (retail price: 1.5), and one ton of water occupies a volume of 1 cubic meter, which corresponds to 1819 bottles of water. Currently, the online price for methanol is around 2500 (I’m not sure if this is accurate). The production process isn’t clear, and as for costs, well, methanol and mineral water are both natural resources! As a reward, how about giving them some zongzi? It’s a festival, and they haven’t gotten anything at all; how can they go home and face that?:(
According to the calculations above, the price of mineral water has now exceeded that of methanol. The production process of methanol is relatively complex; it requires petroleum, natural gas, or coal as raw materials to produce hydrogen and carbon monoxide, followed by processes such as desulfurization and decarburization, pressurized synthesis, and distillation. But water is the most precious resource, and it cannot be synthesized in large quantities artificially. Let’s go for a higher level, after all, one can’t drink methanol every day!
