For hydrogenated sulfur-containing wastewater, we test for ammonia, nitrogen, sulfides, and COD; the purpose remains the same. They can be converted into each other
The purpose of adding hydrogenated water is to wash away ammonia salts. If there is too much ammonia nitrogen in the sulfur-containing wastewater, thorough washing may not be possible; in such cases, it is necessary to increase the amount of water added
It’s not the ammonia nitrogen concentration; the ammonium hydrosulfide content must not exceed 8 percent
If the ammonium hydrosulfide content in sulfur-containing wastewater is higher than 8%, it indicates that the amount of water used for flushing the reaction system is insufficient; this leads to the crystallization of ammonium salts within the heat exchangers and air-cooling tubes, thereby causing blockages in those tubes.
The original poster is referring to an ammonia nitrogen content of no more than 8%; this might be related to the dissolution curve of ammonium salts! I haven’t found that curve yet!
