For those who have passed the Certified Public Accountant exam, what is the difference between the morning and afternoon sessions of the first day of the exam? What is the difference between the morning and afternoon of the second day? I see that there are cases in the morning and afternoon of the second day – does that mean it’s just different chapters?
The first day is called Professional Foundations, and the second day is about cases; I don’t know what the difference is! Please explain

There’s basically no difference, right? If we break it down, the questions in the morning of the first day are more theoretical in nature, while those in the afternoon of the first day focus more on practical applications ； The next day, the morning and afternoon were a bit similar as well. The main difference is that the exam topics are different, meaning different chapters are tested.

Register for the chemical engineering exam: there are three hours of testing in the morning of the second day, and another three hours in the afternoon. A total score of 120 is required to pass. The exam on the first day is also known as the professional knowledge exam, and it consists of 40 multiple-choice questions and 30 multiple-select questions; no calculation steps are needed. The exams on the morning and afternoon are of a similar type, as all topics have to be covered, and six hours of testing at once is too much to handle. The exam on the second day is called the professional case study exam; in other words, it involves calculation problems, with a total of 50 questions, 25 in the morning and 25 in the afternoon. A score of 60 is sufficient to pass. The questions mainly relate to principles of chemical engineering and physical chemistry. I’m not sure if this information is useful to you!
