Expansion joint bolt adjustment

Regarding the bellows expansion joints used by our company in steel pipe gas pipelines, whether the bolts should be loosened after installation: based on our general experience, the fixing bolts should indeed be loosened. However, the \"Safety Technical Regulations for the Operation, Maintenance, and Emergency Repair of Urban Gas Facilities\" explicitly state in 3.2.10 that the interfaces of bellows expanders should be regularly checked for tightness and operational condition. After completing the adjustment of the tuner, the nut should be tightened to keep the pull rod under stress. I’m not sure whether to tighten it or loosen it; could someone with more experience give me some advice?
It should be loosened to a certain distance, which can compensate for and limit excessive deformation.
