Insulation and heating methods for C5 and C6 pipelines

Our facility currently has a DN50 pipeline that is 6,000 meters long, used for transporting C5 and C6 compounds (including benzene). The transfer of these materials is not continuous, and heat tracing is intended to prevent freezing and blockages. If steam is used for heat tracing throughout the pipeline, all of the material would vaporize. If steam is used only in certain areas, local overheating and vaporization, or even tube expansion, could occur when the flow of material is stopped, which poses a significant risk. As for electric heat tracing, it is difficult to obtain a power source, making construction and operation challenging; moreover, the investment required is high. I would like to ask those with experience: what are some reliable heat tracing solutions that can ensure safe operation?
Use electric heating; if you don’t want to spend money yet and still expect to achieve great things, that’s pretty unlikely.
Use the low-temperature heat source of the device for heating; a temperature range of 40–60° is ideal, as this saves on investment while also making use of waste heat, achieving two benefits at once.
