I am looking for the inner diameter values for ASME B16.5 welded flanges. In this standard, the inner diameter values are not specified directly; instead, it is stated that the customer should provide these values. I would like to know what the maximum allowable inner diameter value is. The specific classifications are as follows: 150LB – 14~24”, 300LB – 14~24”, 600LB – 1/2~24”, 900LB – 1/2~24”, 1500LB – 1/2~24”, 2500LB – 1/2~24”. If anyone knows the exact inner diameter values or the method used to calculate them, please let me know
I can’t answer that question. For butt welding, it depends on the wall thickness; there’s no fixed inner diameter
