It was learned on July 2, 2012, that as of the 29th of the previous month, the filter cake bin of the catalyst preparation unit at Shenhua Ordos Coal-to-Oil Branch had been in operation continuously for over a month without any interruptions in production due to blockages in the bin, marking the successful achievement of continuous and stable operation for the world’s first industrial-scale catalyst preparation unit. It is reported that previously, the filter cake bin of this unit required cleaning every 2 to 3 days; after four years of technical upgrades, the company was finally able to achieve continuous and stable operation of the unit.
