The sliding supports for pipes can be selected from the pipe span table, but how is the distance between the fixed supports of pipes determined?
Based on load-bearing capacity and thermal expansion, I personally think there’s basically no issue with the load-bearing capacity; the key is to calculate the thermal stress properly.
Pipe supports are generally sliding, and fixed supports need to be installed at both ends of the thermal compensator
Limiters and clamps are also needed, right? :)
The fixing frame is meant to divide longer piping systems into shorter, separate sections, so that stress calculations can be performed on each section individually. The installation of the fixing frame must be handled with extreme care, and stress calculations must be conducted. Fixing brackets should be installed on both sides of the expansion bend on the pipe rack, but they must not be placed too close to the expansion bend, otherwise they will not be effective.
Fixed brackets should differ from conventional sliding or guiding brackets in terms of distance requirements; both fixed brackets and thrust bearings are special types of brackets for which there are no fixed rules regarding the length at which they need to be installed. The question should be where to install the fixing brackets; there have already been many discussions on this topic in the forum
