I am a student. 1 I want to understand more clearly the nature of work and the responsibilities associated with this profession. 2 What specific tasks are carried out on a daily basis? 3 For professionals, what preparations can we make during our time in school to meet the needs of companies? Note: The basic understanding at present is that QA needs to have a thorough knowledge of the basics in laboratories and workshops, be proficient in a range of standards, and need to maintain good communication with departments such as audit. Adhering to the principles of ensuring product quality and standardizing production. Learning more is also to avoid feeling disappointed later on, once I start working in this role and realize I might have chosen the wrong career path. QA, short for Quality Assurance, is committed to providing confidence that quality requirements will be met. Different companies have different requirements; generally, job responsibilities are defined in accordance with the needs of each company. Currently, QA is given more emphasis in the southern industries compared to the northern ones. It is recommended to consider knowledge of other systems, such as food certification and 6 Sigma. We are in the private chemical industry, where not much emphasis is placed on QA; our main tasks involve system maintenance. Another point is to learn more about your field of expertise in order to improve your skills; sometimes you can’t do whatever you want to do. . .
QA is a very promising career; there is a particular shortage of senior QA professionals in the food, personal care, pharmaceutical, and food additive industries. In a API factory, the quality systems of all raw material suppliers need to be approved by QA; the determination and modification of production process parameters also require QA approval, and the release of batch records is handled by QA. In short, QA is at the core of the entire quality management process, and such QA personnel are usually those who have both technical knowledge and expertise in quality management. From a personal career perspective, skilled QA professionals are in high demand everywhere, especially in large multinational companies. But it seems a bit strange to be able to work as a QA right after graduating.
Actually, the path I’ve chosen is to become a QA trainee or work as an intern in the QA department. As a newcomer, I’m not yet capable of taking on such tasks, but I think it’s completely fine to use this as a stepping stone for my career development. Our company’s QA responsibilities include: maintaining and managing the quality management system, planning and overseeing internal audits, managing the creation and revision of quality and environmental manuals, handling administrative tasks related to the quality management system, managing product specifications, dealing with customer complaints, supervising supplier quality, and issuing shipment approvals.
