I’m sorry, I made a mistake. On the condensation side of the pure argon column evaporator, nitrogen gas at pressure from the top of the lower column is used as a heat source to vaporize the liquid argon at the bottom of the pure argon column; this resulting vapor rises upward, while the nitrogen gas is condensed into liquid nitrogen, which is then returned to the upper column after being throttled. It should be possible; just produce liquid nitrogen. Personal opinion, for reference only.
It would be better to wait for experts in design to answer this question; my personal understanding is that there are issues related to material balance as well as energy balance.

Remove the nitrogen from the tower; the evaporator in the pure argon tower serves as the heat source! How could it possibly be a cold source? Even the condenser of the pure argon column does not use the nitrogen gas from the lower column as a cooling source.

Here, nitrogen is drawn from the lower tower to serve as a heat source for the pure liquid argon at the bottom of the refined argon tower; after condensing, the nitrogen turns into a liquid, and after throttling it is sent to the top of the refined argon tower as a cooling source
The extraction of nitrogen from the lower tower seems to be related to some kind of law, but I just can’t figure out what that law is, nor do I have any explanations for it.
Is there a process? It’s hard to say without one; different processes serve different purposes
