It should not have a significant impact on low-temperature methanol washing! The designed circulation rate should take CO2 fluctuations into account, so it should be able to meet the process requirements!
I agree with the view from the fourth floor: low-temperature methanol washing is primarily used to remove acidic gases, and it has an impact on the subsequent synthesis processes. It certainly won’t work if ammonia synthesis is involved; if methanol synthesis is the goal, then a higher temperature is acceptable, but it still can’t be too high – the ratio of CO to H2 needs to be maintained, with generally more H2 present. There might be mistakes in my answers; I’m here to learn as well
