Dear sea friends, what method do you use to test the solid content of your slurry? What is the usual control level?
Our company currently uses the ash method to determine the solid content, keeping it below 8 g/L.
The centrifugation rate is generally kept around 6-7, depending mainly on the density of the slurry and the operating conditions of the slurry system. Reducing the amount of slurry discharged is very beneficial for improving liquid yield.
