Is there a limit on the volume of the storage tank inside the device, for example, what is the maximum volume in cubic units?
It depends on what it’s being used for – is it for use in the production process? For storage still?

Our previous approach was to handle things based on the devices themselves – we just arranged them according to the required spacing between devices!
Regarding the size of the storage tank, there seems to be no specific requirement at present; however, as an intermediate storage tank, its capacity is generally sufficient to provide a buffer for 24 hours of workshop production. If it is large, there are areas for raw materials or finished products, so there is no need to make the intermediate storage tanks too large; larger sizes not only lead to waste but are also unnecessary.
There are clear regulations in the fire codes. The volume and spacing of the device’s storage tanks vary depending on the type of medium stored.
According to GB50160, liquefied hydrocarbon tanks with a capacity of 100 m3 or less, and tanks for flammable gases or liquids with a capacity of 1000 m3 or less, can be located within the facility.

There is no specified size for the storage tanks inside the plant, but it’s not necessary to have too many of them; what’s important is to ensure continuous production. The largest storage tank in our plant has a capacity of 80 cubic meters.
The buffer tank within the device should be sized according to the production cycle; it generally shouldn’t be too large; The spacing is first specified in the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" GB50160 and the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings\" GB50016; for cases not determined by fire protection factors, refer to Table 3.1.2 in HG/T20546.2 regarding the minimum clear distance between equipment or between equipment and buildings
